Tony, I don't know if you have seen this video yet, but this guy goes water kiting with his 10m Yakuza in a 3 knots of wind. He doesn't stay upwind, but it's impressive none the less. I'm wondering what that 12 or 14 would do in 5 kts?

enjoy

Tony flying a Yakuza.

Thought I had a photo of Tony on Flathead flying a Yakuza last fall but I can't find it.

He didn't stay upwind but got some rides on a small board. It was blowing like 5 to 7.

Nice video, I still have not

Nice video, I still have not given up on the idea of flying the yaks on the water. It is just such a bummer when you finally put one in the drink. I'm still cleaning sand out of my 12. That new 19 meter Flysurfer Speed in the deluxe edition may help me recover from this strange desire I have.

I just got back from a somers

I just got back from a somers beach session on the 12 yakuza. It was only 3-6 mph of wind but I was able to tour about and actually had a pretty fun time. I love those handle kites. Everybody should have a 10 or 12 for those light wind days.
