MT Haggin is one of the premier snowkiting spots in Montana, located in the Anaconda-Pintlar wildernes it offers a long season from Early November to late May. This area averages over 100 inches of snow every year, and it takes wind from almost every direction. Directions:
from Anaconda, take hwy 1 south east to Mill Creek Rd and head south, go 8mi over the pass to the Sugar Loaf Cabins, form there take the road approximatley 3mi to the MT Haggin Wildlife management area, stop in at the soup shack for parking info, maps, and area guidelines.
