The Montana Snowkite (Traveling) Rodeo at Jackson Hot Springs, Montana March 29- April 4th, 2010

March 29 - April 4th Montana Snowkite Rodeo Days in  Jackson, MT   This year's festivities will be based out of Jackson Hot Springs, MT as we spend a week snowkiting the vast mountain ranges and open terrain surrounding the Big Hole Valley. Evenings will be spent in Jackson's giant lodge with a full bar/restaurant and relaxing in their big pool fed by the famous Hot Springs, making Jackson Montana's only town heated entirely by geo-thermal heat. Other activities in the area include two ski areas, Lost Trail and Maverick Mountain. A trip to the Bannock Ghost Town is a must and the great thing is there is kiting to be had EVERYWHERE you go, from Mount Haggin to Big Hole pass to Badger Pass to the big white hills right outside of Jackson. Everything is within a 45 minute drive, making your options limitless.

So far our events for the week include in depth presentations on Montana Land Access issues and Reading Weather. We will have representatives from Kite companies like Ozone, Slingshot, Best and others on hand to lend their expertise and show off their gear. Weather depending we'll be putting together a Winduro Race and we will wrap it all up at the end of the week with a couple of Montana style parties at the Jackson Hot Springs Lodge.

Come Join Us!

We look forward to bringing you an event that showcases what Montana snowkiting is all about.
